- Angela Horwath Trial Attorney and Counselor at Law Angela Horwath has extensive experience in criminal defense. Before going into private practice, she was employed as a public defender at The Department of Assigned Counsel. While there, she was the Lead Counsel on hundreds of criminal cases and trained several attorneys in the practice of criminal law. In addition to her extensive trial experience, Angela has authored over one hundred criminal legal motions and briefs. Angela’s private practice is devoted to criminal defense. She has particular trial experience in the area of domestic violence. She is an excellent criminal defense lawyer. Prior to working at the DAC, Angela worked with The Defenders Association; she participated in the Youth at Risk Clinic and represented juveniles in criminal defense cases.
